Uncomfortable Conversations:
Abuse of position of trust
AACE and the College of Paramedics held a Zoom Call from on Thursday 14 October 2021 – and invited all ambulance service staff to attend.
You can watch a recording of this extremely insightful session here:
The purpose of this important session was to increase awareness of what constitutes “inappropriate behaviour”, what signs to look out for, the psychology of the offender, and how to respond.
We heard from speakers with expertise, knowledge and experience in this area and gave attendees the opportunity to reflect on what they heard, to share their thoughts and views, and take forward some valuable and practical insights.
Facilitators
The session was facilitated by Liz Harris Head of Professional Standards, College of Paramedics and Anna Parry, Deputy Managing Director, Association of Ambulance Chief Executives.
